Curriculum & French Language Program in France
General French Courses are basic language skills courses which are offered year-round at French in Normandy. Students can choose 15 hours to 25 hour per week of lessons. French in Normandy offers 6 different levels from beginners to advanced students and courses start every Monday. On the first day are tested in the morning and provided with a free orientation session in the afternoon, introducing them to the city of Rouen.
Classes are based on communicative French and structural progression in mornings. Class times are 9.30am to 1.00pm, including a 30 minute recess from 11h-11h30. Afternoon programs, between 2.00pm to 4.00pm, include a series of workshops:
Monday: Vocabulary and reading
Tuesday: Written comprehension and writinf skills
Wednesday: Listening skills and French life and culture
Thursday: DELF / DALF preparation
The maximum number of students in each class is 10.
Cultural & Social Activities in Rouen
Each month the school provides a variety of themed cultural and social activities including comedy, literature, cooking, art, music and history. Planned activities, events and sightseeing take place daily along with weekend excursions in and around Rouen and Normandy. Activities include:

Tuition & Fees
Cost of living and learning in Normandy is significantly lower than in Paris and students learn in smaller classes, receive more personal care and attention as well as have a more immersion experience than in larger cities in France. French language courses in Normandy start at less than €200 per week and accommodation costs start at €28 per night including 2 meals per day.
